profit in concert tickets?

That's my point. Maybe they would be able to afford the face value were they able to buy from the venue. But aren't able to pay the inflated value you charge. As you said, selling the extra offsets the price of tickets, so they are in effect paying for your kids as well as their own. Nobody said you weren't entitled to buy them.
My opinion is that it's a crappy thing to do.
Maybe they should give up luxuries, or maybe they just can't afford twice the price, or maybe you should buy what you need and give others a chance.
I assume you hold the same views for Ebay, who make millions a week, from commission selling tickets??Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
I have done this twice with Drake tickets, i bought 6 and sold the 4 for 20 pounds above face value so my kids had a free night out. Nothing illegal in this, and i wish i had bought more.0

No, eBay don't put them up there. Ticket master make commission too.
They're not buying to sell on for a profit. They're just providing a platform for people to sell. Sell anything, not just tickets.
You buy to sell, others miss out, or pay for your kids as well as their own buying at your inflated prices. Utterly different.Sigless0 -
I've bought and sold tickets on ebay, although I've only sold as I couldn't go to the concert for whatever reason. Some I've won, and others I've lost.
I think concert ticket are too expensive anyway!!Quidco Earnings (since Dec 06): £467.750 -
