Babysitting would be top of my list.
Trust me, when you have kids a good babysitter is invaluable. Most of my friends have numbers for different ones so going away in the hols shouldn't necessarily be a problem.
What about weeding people's gardens?
I know it's a bit of a dead end job but people HATE weeding so they're more likely to pay someone else to do it.
Dog walking ? Working people may really relish the thought of not having to drag themselves out of bed or venture out after they've done a hard day's graft.
Advertise in local newsagents (with your mum and dad as contact maybe? NEVER give your own mobile).
And stipulate on your advert that it's term time availability only.
Hope there are a few ideas here.

The local milkman usually takes on young males to help deliver the milk and collect money only problem is its an early start."Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone, and do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering"0

Ask at the local hotels/pubs etc to see if they need extra waiters for wedding receptions, parties etc.
Delivering leaflets - see local newspapers for adverts.

There are loasd of things you could do.
There are lots of companies that will employ young people but they are all little bit jobs that it would be to pay an older person, there are also limits on what a young person can actually do.
Get your mum or dad to sign up to do some envelope stuffing, you do it and they give you the money. its a bit dodgy but if your parents are ok with it then it is an easy thing you can do at home.
Paper round it wont bring in loads on money but it is somthing an 14 year old can do.
I used to do glass collecting and other non serving work for the local football club at events, every week 1 night and its easy and paid pretty well I thought.
If you have any ideas on what you want to do in the future it wouldnt harm you to contact those types of companies and see if there is anything you can do there. It will look good on a CV if you have been in that envorinment when you go asking for a full time job.0 -
Gazza123 i want to congratulate you on wanting to earn your own cash and have a little bit of independence. Me and my brother had jobs from an early age and it gave us a real work ethic and made us value money more. You have a brilliant attitude so should have no problem finding someone to employ you in a job that suits. Good luck. Let us know how you get on.

Hello Gazza123
I'll move your thread to the 'Benefits, Tax Credits & Jobseeking' board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.
