FTB: Mortgage Application Address

Hello,
My wife and I are about to apply for a mortgage as ftb. Just got a copy of my credit report and it show my current address as my parents and my linked address as my current rented address. It shows that I was registered on the electoral roll at my parents for 10 years up to 09 and then here (my linked) address since then. The majority of my credit entries are associated with my parents address – mainly credit cards but other things like mobile phone and my joint bank account with my wife is registered at my rented/linked address.
Do you think this will cause any issues with a mortgage application, what address should I give? We will be doing a joint application which may confuse things more.
Other than that my credit report looks ok except for one explainable late payment in Augest 2009, will that have much of an effect?
Thanks
James

With regard to the multiple address issue I can't see that being a problem as I was in the same situation when I applied for my mortgage. As I would imagine are a lot of first time buyers.
I kept all the address relevant stuff (car/home insurance, council tax, utilities etc) at the rental property and left all my banking / mobile stuff pointing to my parents address to save having to remember to update them each time we changed rental houses and this didn't raise any problem during the mortgage process.
I was also only ever on the electoral roll at the rental address for 3 months before applying for the mortgage too after spending 3 years in limbo due to believing I was registered at my parents address but without realising they had diligently taken me off. :-P• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.0
