It is strange, lol. I know that my other referral was listed as a 'none' member (I think that would that be signing up but not doing anything), but was still showing in my list (I had 4 friends at that point - her, my mum, and 2 mystery friends!). She's then completed her profile so is now 'basic', (still 4), she then got a referral, so I now have 5 friends - 4 friends and 1 extended network friend.

I was thinking that the other two could be from my sponsor, but that doesn't add up as it would be more than 2 - and they would be classed as extended network friends.

Oh dear, I think I just confused myself even more! :rotfl:

I'm not sure now either. Wonder if someone can use your referral, then not complete any details but it registers against your account.

5 is good anyway but they would all need to complete a basic profile so that you can be platinum member.

Yes, that's a point, maybe clicking through the referral link registers somehow on your account. Maybe they'll disappear after so long, once they reslise they're not actually going to sign up. Hmmm, think I might email them as the not knowing will only annoy me, lol

you're doing really well ilovetea :T
  • Minus £5.... an organiser i sold wasn't A5 as i thought.
I did state in the listing that i wasn't sure of the size but thought it was an A5, so didn't really have to refund anything. I like to have an Easy life when it comes to Ebay buyers, so offered a full refund on return or £5 off purchase price, they opted for £5 off...Thankfully!

Nothing else to add yet, got a few listings ending later tonight, so fingers crossed :)

Im unsure what to do about listing more items tonight, postage goes up on the 30th, so i was thinking of listing for 5 days to try and beat the increase, but if the buyers dont pay up straight away i could be out of pocket, the answer has just came to me, i'll list for 10days with new updated prices. :D

Work is still Pants, but im over half way through my 14 week contract now so just sucking it up and thinking of the Cash help to clear the overdraft :D

Hey everyone - wanted to say i am still here and reading - just not posting much as i am not making any money :(
I have some money due from eb*y but will add that once its received and postage and fees accounted for.
Thats been about it really. Since i'm no longer doing my p/t job i am really missing the money - not the hours or the hassle of course just the wages :( Added to that the relative who had been repaying me the money they owe me has stopped doing so :( *i know* lesson truly learnt but when its family sometimes the pressure and guilt just make it too hard - well not anymore i suppose as they now know i am struggling financially (wasn't when they had the money off me).
I'm also really struggling, as many are, with finding a new job - a new job instead of my f/t one - i'm even applying for p/t jobs which will be a huge salary drop  I look every week day for any positions to apply for but there are so few jobs available :(
Gosh - sorry for all the glum faces i've put on here. The thing is though this thread is so lovely and supportive :) and i love how everyone shares ideas for raising money and getting funds in :) So thank you all - it is still good for me to read through and motivate myself :)
I've nothing sorted out to list on the bay of e - when i was short of money at the start of this year i actually listed stuff i wanted to keep as i needed the money to pay the mortgage and bills  So its not like i haven't decluttered to the nth degree - i will be hunting some stuff out but the house is in major upheaval at the mo. and there just isn't the space or time for me this weekend to do anything in the way of *bay

Ta Nat :D Times are indeed very tough! I would happily do the telesales even if i did not have the debt / big mortgage to repay. I have just been a bit worried that i wouldn't know what to say / be very good at it / how to respond to certain situations. I guess alot of these are just normal anxieties ?! Anyways times are so tough that the main thing stopping me right now is our incredibly rubbish phone - its really old and terrible - the line is really faint and its a cordless ? one but within minutes of starting a call the battery cuts out - even with new batteries :( It does need replacing but is way down on the list of priorities with so many other things to pay out. I really need to get onto this asap!

You can use your mobile with the site in on, I think with companies generally they like you to use landline.
