Forgive me if this is a daft question - can't you ring them and ask for a balance update.......and maybe a new sentry thingymadoober? :p

    xxx

Not daft - although in to be honest, I hadn't actually looked for it properly at first - it was more like 'I can't see it while looking around from the sofa so it must be lost" :rotfl:
When I found it, I was more annoyed after I'd found it when I logged in I couldn't find how to change my settings back so that I could login without it next time.
Worked it out, so all sorted now though :)

Lots of surveys done today. Had been getting a bit slack with them, so tightening the ropes again for a while as we spent lots of vouchers on things we needed for the house in the last few weeks, so now I feel like we should have more!! It's silly really, because there's no point doing all these surveys and whatnot to earn all the vouchers if I then don't want to spend them. They were used on significant purchases that there was no room in the budget for, so it's not like they've been frittered away or anything, as that would have really annoyed me, but still - I used to like counting them all up when I was feeling poor and had no real money to count. :o:rotfl::cool:

A huge 30p for me this morning from tcb and £97.77 from telesales
    £20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**
  • Another £5 from swagbucks:j, my last this month but I'm really close to pay out on zoombucks, think I should order over the weekend. I've also ordered another $5 from SPoints.
  • This is the first month I've done this challenge properly, and OOOOOOHHH I've exceeded my target already! 'Lil bit excited!

£36.01 made on eBay after postage and fees, £15.15 from TCB for Netflix (cancelled before free trial ended), £15.38 saved from weekly budgets, £23.50 saved from second job earnings, £1.51 in roadkill (it pays to get old handbags out of the cupboard!), £20 Fab Bingo win, £25 Facebook sale, £10 Amazon vouchers from SB, and £10 in my £2 coin saving challenge. I know that's a separate challenge, but it's all money saved, so I think I should add it to my total :)

Going to plough on as think I can still save a bit more money from my weekly budgets etc., and also will try with some more Facebook sales. Off work today and off to visit a dress agency, to see if they give me a decent quote for 3 dresses, or if I'd be better off selling them some other way.

Quick eBay question - how do you all pay your seller fees? You have to have automatic payments set up, but I don't want to wait for that as it takes ages to go through. I see you can make a one time payment, but does anyone know if I do that if it means they will also still charge me automatically? Bit worried about paying twice.

I have started paying them when I get paid by the buyer. Ebay just deduct from your final total, so don't worry, they don't charge you twice.
  • Thanks Aesop,

So do you mean you just do the 'one time' payment thing each time?

Yes, I do one off payment by Paypal each time a buyer pays me, I check my invoice for what to pay and then pay it. Saves waiting for the invoice and making sure I have the money in my paypal.
