I think I'm going to try and find a local facebook group to sell stuff - is there any good way of finding them? I do know one that is quite local so might try that. I hate packaging stuff up!

Is anyone else having problems getting SP to load today? There were problems yesterday with the button getting stuck and the page not loading from time to time but today I can't get the site to load at all.

just type in wanted, sell, buy, free in the search panel at the top of FB. Then you should see a whole list come up, the ones in your area should come up first, but you made need to scroll down the list a bit.

£21 paid in today £20 in £2 coins and £1 in 2ps!! Sold a couple more things on ebay will add when postage is worked out.

Got 2 more streets on my Avon round so will hopefully get a bit more cash from that, but got told not to deliver anymore to a nursing home where I have quite a good customer, so a bit sad about that. ho hum.

Why have you been told not to deliver there? By the home management?
That's a real shame, not just for you but for the customer too, she shouldn't have to miss out on treating herself from the catalogues just because of the choices of the home staff :(

When you deliver there do you usually leave a book or 2 in a communal space, or how do you do it? Maybe ask whoever told you you can't deliver there whether you can still keep delivering to just your customer.
If not allowed, maybe try and find out whether she has any family members you could deliver to so they could take the book for her to have a look. Or maybe part of the reason she likes to order is for the social aspect of the 'Avon Lady' coming?

oh stupid ebayers. Some woman bought an item from me 4 weeks ago and didnt pay. I emailed her saying that she needs to cough up or I will relist (I could of got a lot more for it anyway) and she emailed saying as she was new she had to set up her paypal account. I gave up and told her she should of done all that before bidding and I will relist. I sold the item last week to someone else and then today I get a paypal payment from her!!

I've had some sales from the free listing last weekend. so will take those to the po tomorrow and work out how much I have earnt after fees.

someone has a web page on matched betting and posted on my FB buy sell wanted page... not sure whether to delete it or not.

Don't want people thinking I have agreed to it, because I haven't.

Might be worth deleting it, as it's not something people should go into without properly understanding it, and if it's just there for everyone to see then people might jump into it without properly researching it.
Not your fault, but I'm sure you'd feel a bit bad if things went wrong. :(

Thanks Monkeynut, have deleted it now. if she asks will explain that I know matched betting is not as simple as she is portraying it.

and this is supposed to be a buy, sell, wanted free page.

although they may say it is free advice
