i'm looking for fencing panel about 5ft high, just plain no fancy pattern, i've priced them up in b&q and wickes for around £15-£18 per panel if you buy quite a few in one go. just wondering if i can get them cheaper else where, i will probally need about 15 panels but not 100% sure until we re-measure. thanks in advance

I am looking for the exact thing. I ordered from Asda last time, My house backs onto other houses all the way around, Right hand side is our responsibility, Left hand is my neighbours and the top side is the house directly oposite. I have replaced mine back a year or so go when i was renting my house out and my neighbour as done theirs, If you think the house directly will, Will they hell, Its broken and their bloody dog keeps coming in my garden so hubby patched it up with wood etc and nailed it securly so no dog coming in now but looks like we need to pay for it as they just seem to care that their dog every morning was in my garden. When we ask are they replacing their fence, They said they cant afford it, So looking for a deal so i can get it done, Makes me mad but cant stand it any longer. So anyone that can point me in the right direction will be very much appreciated, I know Wickes works out 13 pound a panel if ordering a minimum of 15 but i only need three. Thanks in advance.'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0

oh that sound a right pain. i dont have any problems with neighbours thank god but previous owners put a bamboo screen along the inside of a very strong fence and with the bath weather it had started to pull it down so best to change all panels, i know the neighbour to my left wouldnt change her fence and i want all the garden matching so plan on paying for it all but leaving left fence up and putting ours on inside so she doesnt benefit from our new fence :P cant believe how expensive fencing panels work out to be but really need to get it done because my son seems to want to go in the garden all the time and want it nice and safe for him. hope we both have some amazing person come along and say they know where it is very very cheap

You might find it easier/just as cheap or poss cheaper going to a wood-yard.....and seeing if they can do you a deal for XYZ
amount of panels etc.
In the past I've had panels from the likes of Wickes and B&Q and to be honest , the quality is poor......compared to a decent, more longer lasting panel from a wood yard....the downside being is that it cost a tad more....but then you pays for whats you gets in this world.

hi i ordered my fence panels from http://www.elbecgardenbuildings.co.uk/index.aspx
cheapest than my local timber place and researched company by reviews.
mine are coming tom and ordered 26th march.appreciate what you have got x0 -
^^ Cheaper than your local timber yard :eek: I've never seen panels that expensive.
1 tip, when you get your panels done make sure you use gravel boards underneath, stops the bottom rotting so quick.
Also instead of using wooden posts you may want to price concrete posts, will last 100 times longer and only a couple of quid more expensive. Easier to change single panels if they get damaged.

Last year I purchased 12 panels from Wicks. Delivery was next day but the quality was pretty poor. Would not buy them again.0

i have since ordered 15 panels from wickes for £225 so thought that was a good price. we ordered a few things that we needed to take it over £300 so we had free delivery and we could of had it the next day but chose for a day or so later, the panel seems good quality, even survived a night falling down with bad wind, cant wait to get them up now to see my garden finished
