Experian Vs CallCredit?

Hi

Im hoping someone will know what the difference is between the two credit reporting agencies on their scoring criteria.

I would really like to find out what the Callcredit equivant is to an Experian score of 800?

Also if we were to request a check on callcredit by ourselfs will this affect our score at all or is this only the case when companies do the report?

any info would be great thanks :)

Well on experian I was in the 800's and on Noodle (callcredit) I was 1/5... go figure.

It just shows it means nothing. I have no missed payment, no judgements and no defaults. My total debt is about 1/4 of my salary (not counting loan from friend) so I can see no reason for this low score.
    Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid

    Halifax Credit Card £4448.6. Loan 1 £3000. Loan 2 £2696.13.

Aiming to be debt free by 31/12/2013.

Credit scores are worthless. They are another way for the CRA's to extract money out of us by making us think they are useful.

Each lender has different lending criteria, and don't even see your "score".

When you get a copy of your own credit file this 'search' is not visible to any potential lenders who would see your file on a credit application.

So no it doesn't affect your rating or score that they will sell to you.

But its not worth paying for a score or rating from these agencies, just get copies of your statutory credit files for £2 (or free on noddle/callcredit) and look at what is actually on your report.
Thats all a potential lender can see from the credit ref agencies. They then make their decisions based on this and the other information you provide to them when you apply for credit.
