Hi,
On 24th of feb we applied for a mortgage with northern rock and the valuation report was requested by them and sent on the 8th of March. On the 17th of March they approved this valuation and sent the case for 'final review'. We have still not received an offer of a mortgage.
Im getting a bit worried as other friends have all had their mortgages done and dusted within 3 weeks but Northern Rock seem to be taking much longer. Its already meant we're having to put back our moving date (hoped for mid April) as the sellers solicitor wont agree a date untill we have a mortgage offer, and we still have to give notice on the current flat we rent.
Are Northern Rock just particularly slow at the moment? Or is this sounding like we have a problem?
