Mortgage application

I currently have an offer on my property and am in process of applying for a mortgage for another property Is it possible to apply for new mortgage without my partner on the application as his employment circumstances have changed?
Secondly, i am currently off work sick and my pay slips show employer sick pay on them. Do i need to provide my most recent payslips and how do i convince the lender that i hope to return to work in due course? Do u believe this could be problematic?
My property has been on the market for some time and the sale would come at a time when our circumstances are rather tricky!
Thanks for any advice u can offer!

You can make a sole application if you choose, but you'll also have to buy the property in your name solely.
    his employment circumstances have changed
Could you clarify what you mean by this?

I take it we're not talking about you being off for a week with flu? The lender may wish to write to your employer for a reference if you're the only earner and you're not actually working.

What sickness benefits do you receive and for how long?
