  • If you look on Google Earth it is the one to the South East, on Jetstream Rd (well it was when I used it).

They should give you a locker eventually! Hopefully you will get one pretty quick.

Bike is the way to go as you'll be able to park on site and traffic can get quite bad leaving the plant at shift end.
  • Thank you,

What is the policy with zipped items IE bags and leathers, can they be bought in or do I need to buy myself a new bag?
  • Should be OK as they will be confined to the locker rooms/rest areas.

I've never had any problems but then again I've been in BIW so not near any painted cars.
  • Ok cheers, doubt il be anywhere near cars for my first day anyway so shouldn't be too much of a problem...

Hi all, after a year of waiting, I finally start this Tuesday (16th)

Could anybody please let me know where exactly car park 6 is at Birmingham? I'm going to drive tomorrow to find out exactly but be easier if I had some idea (google maps isn't helpful at all)

Also, most of my journeys will be made via bike. Will there be a locker facility for me to store my leathers at the plant at all?

    Thank you

Edited to add I will be at Solihull

If you have a bike you can park on site from day 1.
  • Is this motorbike or pushbike?
  • You won't be anywhere near a car for first couple of weeks whilst on pera.

If your coming from cov/m42 side take the turn off for airport and the car park is on the first round about you come too, it's the last exit I think. If your coming from Birmingham way take turn off from a45 for airport, it's left at first roundabout, straight on at second and on the third one you come to take first exit and your there. I think that's right anyway!! You should get a car park pass on site after pera so you shouldn't have to park at airport for too long I reckon

Has anybody that did the face to face interview two weeks ago have heard any thing back yet
  • Just got off the phone from manpower.

They are currently not holding interviews for JLR Wolverhampton. So anyone who did the manual over the past few weeks will still have to wait until they start the interviews again. I asked the person how long it would take and they said they don't know, but it will be "soon."
