I'm suprised i made it a year without any absences, or lates! But be warned, they are holding people's contracts back by three months for poor work/attutude ect0

I need help guys. I got an email off Manpower saying they have a temporary 10 week assignment but they don't know if it would extended so I am not sure what to do.0

I too have had an email through offering a 10 week temporary contract at castle brom... I'm in secure full time employment at the moment so i just can't justify taking such a big gamble on the hope that it would be extended... It would certainly hit home hard, taking the risk and being out of work just before Christmas. On the other hand if i was unemployed...0

Hi everyone.
I would like to apply & know that I will need to go via ManPower. But looking at their site I can't see the position advertised.
Can anyone give me the job description & possibly a contact at ManPower to enquire?

Looks like they aren't taking any more applicants at the moment, but you can register your interest for when they restart the process.

If only more employers did assessments like this, rather than a pointless interview which even if it is a competency based interview is often far removed from tasks involved with the actual work.
:T As an Assembly Engineer, I have seen some seriously manually inept people, who lacked the dexterity to make a cup of instant coffee, and I have seen others, who would struggle to make conversation with a child, communicating in grunts, who could assemble products all day at British Standard 200 rate (200% of the normal time, for a normal, motivated and trained person) .
How do you find this out without a set of parts, a standard operating procedure and a little instruction?0 -
Hello again everyone, I want to ask those of you who are currently working at JLR midlands what sort of shifts are there for production operatives?
Are there any permanent day or night shifts or does everyone need to rotate? Reason I ask is because I would find it difficult to adjust with the rotation if given the job. Thanks.0
