Hello
Current story is that me and my wife have been renting a house for 3 years, moved in and it needed every room decorating. We have done this and made a home in it with our kids.
Now the land lord wants to sell now! after getting anything done!
Because its a old house we havre been told we need a 10% deposit! The land lady said to make her a offer on they house so.we were going to offer 110,000 as other houses are going for a bit more but the house needs new windows, bathroom ,kitchen, bringing up to date etc....
Now we don't have 11grand for a deposit, and I can't believe how much rent has increased as its crazy money!
Are there any options for us? Just rent somewhere else to be told to move on again, go for a rent to buy scheme, anyone know about these?
Bit sick to be honest! Abyss help would be great...

Hi,
If you could tell us what your earnings are, how much you pay in rent, what your credit history is like, and any loans/credit cards you have that would help...
...But to be brutally honest, you need a deposit to get a mortgage. There are no 100% mortgages anymore and you'll also need money for fees and moving costs on top.
There are no quick wins here - if you want to buy you need to save hard. Have you looked at how much the mortgage payment would be for 100k? How does this compare to what you are paying in rent?
Regards,
