First Plus

Hi i was wondering if anyone can give me some advice, i was stupid enough to get a secured loanwith First Plus! At the time i was desperate, I have since settled this loan but while looking over the paper work i discovered the following;
My Loan was for £32,000 and my settlement figure was £37,008.02, £4,277.81 of this was insurance, how can they still make you pay the insurnace even though you are paying the loan off in full! When looking at my origonal paper work it says ppp loan for the insurance how can they charge you for this?? I have queried it and they advised if i had stayed with the loan for 5 years then i would of been entitled to a rebate! Is there any way i can claim this money back as my loan i needed was for £32,000 and they put my loan upto £38,377.60 by adding the insurance.

I would be very grateful can advise me if im entitled to get my insurance money back.
