  • No is my new partners mother . I only changed to that surname jan , all previous credit being and still is in my married name . I know it's confusing , I think the broker may have entered info wrong as he recorded the old fashioned way and had several email to clarify . Does the ltv % play much of a factor , ie is 20% more likely accepted than 30% ? or are certain amounts grouped as same risk

Its the same risk category for buy to let lending, its a purely credit score issue as the rest would fly through.

Some have specific criteria around debt consolidation, but there will be a solution..

I meant good selection product wise as much better than the competition at this LTV..

It is confusing on the name, but we all know getting the dates etc. spot on makes a considerable weight on the credit file and credit checking so crucial to get correct...

It has long term tenants , I seek to remortgage 40k

Lenders won't be interested if the purpose is to clear existing debt.

If you don't own a residential property in your own right then you'll find options for a BTL diminish as well.

Not least your existing mortgage commitment be count against you.

No point in worrying about 3rd party credit scores its how the lender score you that matters.
  • I don't understand last comment . I own residential property that I'm trying to remortgage out right . I own another property out right and have ltv of 10% on property in joint name .

Previously advised a existing mortgage is a advantage ?

    What is a "btl" ?

The credit score viewed by lender is based on information held by ecperian etc , so surely this information does affect the opinion of the lender ?
  • Sorry "btl" buy to let . I own the propert outright as previously stated . And another property outright . But at no point in application is non credited assests mentioned
