Outstanding bill from Scottish Power

Hi all am looking for some advice please as I have been unable to contact the OR office yet.
I moved out of our previous property in April 2011 and into rented property in a different area. At the time we moved out we were on meters with our Gas and Electricity (supplier was Scottish Power) and we owed nothing on the gas and owed about £100 on the electricity at the time of moving out.
When we moved out I called Scottish Power to let them know the meter readings the day we left and that the property was empty as it was being repossessed.
When I moved into this property the supplier was also Scottish Power and when I contacted them to let them know I was taking over the tennacy here I informed them of my previous address and asked about the £100 remaining on the Electricity to which I was told could be in-corporated into my monthly direct debit payments here until it was paid off.
Anyway I forgot all about it and have been paying my Gas and Electricity every month via direct debit when I recieved a letter yesterday from a company called LCS - Utility Investigations Civil Enforcement Debt recoveries saying that they are acting on behalf of Scottish Power.
The letters state that they have undertaken an investigation into the (previous) property from the 29/9/06 (the day we moved in) until 24/2/12 (around the time it was sold via repossesion) and that I owe £1036.42 on the electricity and £420.46 on the gas.
I have searched for the old meter readings and can't find them anywhere, I have also contacted Scottish Power about this but they say they can-not deal with it and I have to contact the above company.
Now I worried that:
A - This will not be covered by my bankruptcy as I didn't include it at the time and I went bankrupt in Aug 11 and this bill is up till the 24/2/12
B- Scottish Power will increase my monthly payment for my current property to cover the outstanding bill, which I couldn't afford as I already pay £149 a month for gas and electricity here.
As I say I have been trying to contact the RTLU who are dealing with my bankruptcy to ask them about this but have so far been unable to get through, does anyone know what may happen to this outstanding bill?
Thanks in advance
Pink x

Managed to get through to the RTLU and they explained things to me. Have alos contacted Scottish Power again and spoke to a nice lady who helped me, so hopefully this will all be sorted out soon.
Fingers crossed it is anyway

Marrtinnn, this post is two years old so Tickled Pink may not be around to help you now
Is there a problem you are having that someone on the board can assist you with.
FYI looking at the post by TP, I am guessing that the debt would have been included in her BR.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
