Hello all,
I really need help with my SOA, I just cannot get my head around it. It is just me going backrupt. My husband and I don't have any joint debts.
My husband works full time. There is a question about how much other household members contribute to the bills. The answer asks for a figure in £.Would you just write his salary in here?
I get some benefits-child tax credit, DLA because our daughter is disabled and carers again because of my daughter. I don't work. Things like the rent, council tax etc are paid by my husband out of his account.
Do I include all the figures on the SOA so it is written for us as a family? Like include the rent etc even though it comes out of my husbands account?
All of my money is taken up with living espenses. But there is a bit of money left over when we add our expenses together. This is my husbands money for his own credit accounts. Do I include this?
I'm so confused!

No. Because as you rightly say, some of your husbands salary is used for his own private expenses, debts etc.
So you put all the shared household expenses/bills down. Or the ones that would be shared, if you happened to have the income to do so. As you don't, his "contribution" is going to more or less going to balance those out on the SOA.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
