Who does the best one for self employed? We have been quoted abbey by one ifa as they seem to do the best lending ratio? Could anyone recommend any other? Thank you!

There is no "best" it depends entirely on what you want and your circumstances.
If you have less than 3 years worth of accounts then that will reduce the number of lenders available to you.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. First off you need to clarify your objectives; Best Rate or borrow the most amount possible on your salary/salaries
Some lenders use net profit, some salary + dividends and all manner of other weird and wonderful systems. Some want 6 months business statements and 6 months personal to verify this all balances and some dont.
Some like Abbey, now want very clean credit ratings and some lenders are more comfortable with a bit of adverse.
Select the right broker and they will select the most appropriate mortgage...
If you want to give a little more information, will rationalise on the selection of lender although not sure Abbey really top the rate or overall mortgage income multiples scales...?I am a Mortgage Broker
