No they wont tell you they offer if you have to ask for it. Someone here never even knew she could claim travel to the WP. Of course you can claim if it even IS on a signing day since I am guessing it's not in the same place as the JC? Mine is 7 miles away and takes an hour to get to so they have to pay or I wouldn't go.

My provider is next door to the JC and luckily my Nan goes shopping on my signing days so I get a lift there. My first appointment is not on my signing day but still a day when I can get a lift so not too bad.

I live quite rural so 7 miles is nothing lol but it costs £6 to go from my village up to the next town which is 15 miles away but the bus companies don't give the option of a ticket for a return for the town which is 5 miles away.

7 miles is a lot if it takes 1 hour to get there.

the WP will pay like I have said (if you are on it) as they are meant to support you into work and that's support

I know WP will pay, but JCP will not if a interview is in the local area.

So if I save bus tickets from the day I was referred with proof of interview I can claim even though I've not had my appointment?
