NVQ Level 3 in Selling Residential Property.

Hi,
This may be a long shot but i'm wondering if anyone can help me.

I am trying to trace an NVQ Level 3 certificate in either 'Selling Residential Property' or 'The sale of residential property'.
None of the exam boards i have approached seem to hold the certificate so i'm wondering if anyone has done this NVQ possibly between 1996 and 2000 and can tell me the awarding body that they achieved theirs through.
City & Guilds hold no record, neither do Edexcel, OCR or AQA.

I really am getting desperate now as a promotion is dependent upon providing this certificate so if anyone can help in any way... Please, please, please speak up.

Many thanks.

    Hi Geebee

Have you tried looking on the Ofqual website for any mention?
    http://www.ofqual.gov.uk/

The 2 possible awarding bodies with similar sounding courses running more recently are NFOPP and ABBE - any chance it could be either of those?

    Hi Tixy,
I called ABBE today but the lady i spoke to said they didnt offer that particular qualification back then. I called Ofqual but they couldnt help me either. I called a place called sccalliance too, i have to email all the info to them. Just thought that asking here wouldnt do any harm with the wealth of knowledge knockin' about on here.:)

Many thanks for the speedy reply. Hope all's well.

Perhaps the employer is best placed to advise what on exactly they are looking for.

    Thanks 'ohreally' for the reply.

Employer needs proof of 2 A'levels or equivalent for this particular promotion. :)

Is this something that you're struggling to evidence or you don't have, hence the NVQ III?

If you're already in post, won't the employer recognise equivalent experience?

    Hi
I found this but it is only a level 2 http://www.ocr.org.uk/download/sm/ocr_13546_sm_nvq_units_of_comp.pdf
I agree with the above poster. You have the relevant experience now. A new employee might need to prove this but you have your experience to fall back on.

Maybe i didnt make myself clear enough....:o

I took an NVQ level 3 in this subject back between 1997 and 2000, i have now lost the original certificate.

I no longer work in Estate Agency but need to prove to my current employer that i have the equivalent of 2 A' levels for the promotion that i am wanting. I've done the aptitude test, got throught the interview but now need to provide the documents to fulfill one of the criteria.... Hence my asking if there was anyone who had perhaps taken the same qualification around the dates specified, as NONE of the exam boards i have approached, seem to have a copy of my original certificate.

I need to know that i am indeed approaching the correct board. The original course was done through Seetec but as they only hold records for 7 years, they are unable to tell me who the original examining body was.

    Many thanks for the replies.

Despite only holding records for 7 years, surely they would know what exam boards they were using at the time?
