Halfords Clearance in Huntingdon

Just been into Halfords in Huntingdon High Street - they have a 75% sale on unwanted stock before they move to their new warehouse style premises at the weekend (near Homebase). The chap said the store would close on Wednesday. I just got a JVC KD-G721 car stereo (USB connection, WMA/MP3 player/remote etc ) for £35 :j (on the internet they're selling for £90-170). They also had a couple of mountain bikes (not heard of the brand but Shimano gear sets etc) and a few kiddies bikes for £20-£80. I think there getting low on stock but they seemed to be pulling out one offs from the store room ( 4 alloys with tyres went for £65 yesterday according to one chap). They had a few of my stereos left (boxed not ex display) and some KD-G821 for £80. Seemed to have loads of speakers left too. Tel no is 01480 450157.

Looks like some good deals. I myself was looking at buying a KD-G821, they are £130 online but £350 in halfords. It's a shame Huntingdon is too far away from me to make it worthwhile. Those are amazing prices for the JVC stereos.

Amazing is the word !!!! I can't quite decide if I should buy a bundle and sell 'em on....but I'm no risk taker and saving a few bob has made my day....thanks for the reply though - was starting to feel lonely and isolated in Huntingdon !!!
