Good afternoon all,
I posted on here approx 6 months ago about 1st credit chasing me for a debt I had forgotten about, they sent me a copy of the agreement which mine and hubby's signature on and after I searched my credit file, I agreed a payment plan, this plan has been in place for around 6 months and I have paid on time.
I have started receiving letters from them again, the first one offered a full and final settlement which I ignored and the one that came today said "we have been monitoring your credit activity with one of the credit reference agencies....we have received notification your financial position has changed...we would like to review your status with us....please contact us".
What should I do? Nothing at all has changed, I have exactly the income (my pay has been frozen for the last 2 years) and my outgoings and debts have not changed.
Shall I just ignore it again? As far as I am concerned I have an agreement in place and I am paying what I can afford.
Thank you in anticipation of your time and response.

Thank you for the reply.
Could someone tell me who Call Credit are as I have now received another letter telling me my financial situation has improved, nothing has changed I have cleared nothing and do not understand why this is happening! I would like to know what this improvement is.0 -
Call Credit are one of the three credit reference agencies. Experian and Equifax being the other two.
If your situation really hasn't changed then just ignore them. It's a well known lie to get you worried and increase payments to them.0 -
Totally agree and just to add Experto Credite sent me a letter claiming exactly what the op's did.Gordon_Hose wrote: »If your situation really hasn't changed then just ignore them. It's a well known lie to get you worried and increase payments to them.0 -
