Closing an Account while in an Overdraft?

Hi leon_telford
If your Bank notices (computer alert) that you are not paying your wages in to the account they may ask you to pay off the overdraft immediately. Gulp!
I think you should consider being proactive and talking to your bank about this before they jump on you.
However they still may want it repaid in full immediately.
Good luck. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
Nationwide wont close my account until the overdraft is cleared. However, it is not available on-line and cheques & card were returned to the bank. I just get statements occasionally.Truth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0
