  • hi, my daughter got a leapster for nearly 3 yrs now and until now she is njoying it..it think leapster is better...though more xpensive than vtech..
  • yes i have the vtech and the dora game cheap and not very good. have not bothered buying any more games because the dora one is so bad.

could not tell you about the leapster.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!

We have 2 leapsters & another on the way, they are fantastic & my 4 children love playing them, we are waiting on the leapster tv as it will be much more suitable for my 3 year old. The advantage is you can change to a handheld as they get older as they take the same games so our games collection won't be wasted.
We have the leapster & the lmax & although the lmax is good if you don't intend playing through the tv much I wouldnt say it was worth the extra money, we happened to get it on deal before christmas.
The ages of my 4 children are 9. 5, 4 & 3 if that helps.

    hi

my 2 children have the leapsters and the vsmile and my son also has the vsmile pocket, i would say that they play the leapsters more than the vsmile pocket, they dont play the tv system 1 so much due to the fact that it has to be plugged into the tele, only toysrus do the vsmile pocket in pink, my daughter is 4 but has been playing on her leapster for well over a year,

try these for some cheap games should you decide on leapster just type leapster at the top

they also have quite a good deal on vsmile games aswell.

Argos have some games at the moment for leapster for £9.99..I bought my son leapster l-max from tesco last year in the sale (It was only £17) (He is 4)..I am putting it away for this christmas..I didn't give it him this year as he had enough toys etc..I keep buying games when they are on sale...I also bought the leapster tv with a free dora game for £20 from lxdirect so that was a bargain as games alone are around £20...Additions had them onsale recently I think...
Don't know much about the v-smile sorry
