Apart from dailies this is all I have achieved since finishing work and can hardly keep my eyes open so won't be doing anything other than relaxing for rest of evening. Have a good one everybody.

  • Trying to follow lists to the letter this week, as I am at home every day for once. I like being told what to do and not making the decisions myself! Left to my own devices I just get distracted and don't make enough progress.

Anyway, got most of today's done, running out of time before tackling the pile of recipes. Does one of you have a spy camera in my house?

Washed a couple of towels and an ARMY of dusters and wiping rags. So they've been on the line all day and are bone dry. Have emptied maiden of aired washing and am just about to iron more then get ready for tomorrow.

I have booked a man to come and lay the DR carpet on Saturday (it needs trimming) so, ladies, cross those flylady fingers because if THAT happens and the tiler puts in an appearance I will be able to get the house cleaned PROPERLY which I'm itching to do!

Just the basics for me. Was at work then thanks to glorious sunshine, we went in the garden! I sorted the shed and yes, fil cut the grass. Yaay. I can now get to the lawn mower myself too! And I planted my spuds!

Will make up for the house work tomorrow.
    Maybe

    Morning All

You were very quiet last night!

I'm going to start off by doing a HHC in the kitchen and then a bit of ironing before I go to work. DS has got his school play tonight so I'll be out for a couple of hours then but hoppefully I'll get some stuff done as well.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Thanks to everyone for the hugs and good wishes - much appreciated! :)

The phone call didn't come, but I know from experience they are playing a waiting game - they will start the emotional blackmail soon - but I am prepared! :D

I did however have my belief confirmed that karma exists - someone I know has behaved abominably towards his family members and done things you would not believe over many years - suffice it to say that one of his cruel actions has bitten him on the bum (and several other places LOL) and he is going to have to undergo lengthy and painful treatment. I will not gloat. But what goes around, comes around!

Flying today? Hmm, another Governor's course this evening so not a lot I would imagine - although DH takes up the reins very well in my absence! Dinner was ready when I walked in last night (8.30pm after 3 back to back meetings) and the house looked good! I'm off tomorrow so will catch up then.

Enjoy the lovely weather today - another warm one I think?
