Nationwide Soft Search 11.3%
Hi,
I'm after a new car and decided a bank loan would be best. I read on here about the Nationwide soft search and did one and it came out at 11.3% for £8,000.
I'm looking for around £7,500. My credit rating is 366 (this is due to me moving into a new address in January, I lived at my previous address for 18 years).
Can anyone suggest what would be the best bank to go to? I currently have an account with RBS for over 10 years and have seen that if you borrow £7,500 or more the rates are quite good.
Any advice?

Thats a fairly good rate, go for it, but £8000 in debt for a Car?
Ignore your score, see my signature.
The rates you see advertised are only offered to 51% of people, so dont get hung up. 11.9% is fairly good snap it up.Can I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0 -
11.3% isnt bad,and would suggest that you would be accepted0

I was offered 7.5% from naitonwide my score is 806, I'm 19
Let us know if you get accepted I went for £7,500 so I'm hopefully mines for a car as well.Total amount of debt - £3540
Overdraft - £1540
Credit Card - £2000
Amount Payed - £100
Amount Left - £34400 -
The reason I want £8,000 is because I've only been driving for 7 months, and the older the cars seem to be, the more my insurance is. I was previously paying £241 a month, and I know it can depend on a lot of things, but the newer seems to reduce it.
Just hoping I can get something decent.0
