What is the worst job that you've ever had to do?

Packing sugar.

There was a tray holding 50Kg of sticky brown sugar which I had to scoop into plastic bags, weigh, seal and put on a conveyor belt. After an hour the supervisor told me my bags were underweight which shouldn't have been a surprise to me because the scales were covered in sugar so knocking the calibration out.

When I got home I found I was covered in the stuff. I took my shoes off and a load fell out onto the carpet.

I lasted two days and then jacked it in. I never got paid for those days either.

I used to do 48 hours in less than 5 days in one of my past jobs and once did 84 in a week and regularly did 72 in a week. I would have done more for them and the money if the company weren't so aggressive towards me for petty things and then getting paranoid about forcing me to forego my rights under the working time regs. You're a lightweight!

I've also done door to door sales, 3 months I stayed and they still didn't pay anyone a penny. I'm a determined worker but I have my limits and when you do stuff like that and then quit and have people slating you for "Not wanting to work" it's another kick in the teeth you don't want.

I'll work through all sorts of **** but screw me financially and I'll walk.
