Storing (silk) scarves

I love scarves. I have a fair few, lots of silk, some nopt silk. They are stashed in drawers and i am looking for a nice way to enjoy them more often by having them somehow stored on display in my room. Any one else come up with anythoing inventive to acheive this?

What about getting some tall glass vases and rolling them up and stacking them in the vases?

The poster above has described how i store my scarves except i made mine. I used a metal hanger and covered it with material and used wooden curtain hoops underneath, graduating downwards in amounts. Its very affective. Find out how to make one on the cut out and keep website.

I hang my favourites around the necks of the outfits I like to wear them with, on the hanger.

My scarves, silk and otherwise, are on tie racks which are suspended from coat hooks . The tie rack 'arms' are sleeved in smooth non slip plastic so they don't snag the very fine fabrics but they don't fall off either. It was the princely sum of £1.09 at W*lk*s*n's.
