ATM swallowed my card

LOL not as bad as it sounds, i've a nationwide flexaccount that we are using for our wedding expenses and spending money for our honeymoon, i forgot the pin number and asked for a reminder. The reminder pin is wrong and the missus went to an atm this morning to change the pin and check how much was in the account. After the second attempt it swallowed the card. Do they still just send them back in a few days or do you have to contact them and explain what happened before they return it?

was it a nationwide atm? if it was they normally return them but any other bank will destroy it. i would give them a call!

It was a nationwide one, hopefully it'll be ok.

Phone them. They should be able to retrieve your card from the machine at the end of the day and then you can go and collect it.
