i am looking to buy some good quality bedding i need a king size duvet cover and double fitted sheet i would like these to be a dark color. Ideally i would like Egyptian cotton or just cotton willing to spend around £50 am i asking for to much ? any help gratefully received thanks in advance

Ikea. Not sure what the prices are though, otherwise wait for the sales and get some of the Christie stuff from House of Fraiser, costs a bit more but lasts a while.

M&S are also an option.

just a update i read and ran the other day and had a look at the places you mentioned above so thanks for the ideas i was successful at ikea i got 100% cotton black bedding for £21.99 that was king size quilt cover and 4 pillow cases and then £10.99 for a flat sheet. they are just in the wash now hoping they don't come out bottle green will let you know how it goes>

Aren't the ikea sheets only suitable for their size beds?

hi sharon1 i thought this as well at first but bottom sheet fits well and we bought our quit from ikea so no problem there only problem i had was understanding there sizing as they dont really use single double and king size its all in cm. bedding is lovely cant wait to get in bed tonight lol.
