Nobody should think it's any different.
Make sure any communication from the lender absolves you of any future liability for the debt. And keep that letter safely!

I am aware of the jointly/severally liable part of everything, but its just me who is dealing with this as im the only one in contact or contactable, this has been the case the whole time he has lived in the property. just unfortunate the c&g could see how much of a risk he was yet let it go on for so long.
As it seems he has been living rent free and is now walking away from the debt.
I will ensure IF they accept my offer i get this absolution of future liability confirmation. Cheers0
