Not neccessarily. Some people might have bought several to make a profit. Beauty and the Beast will go back into the vault at some point and I have a wrapped copy still sitting on my shelf, so could always decide to sell it on...
Cinderella is being released again later this year, we're very excited.

Possibly but doubtful anyone would keep that many for so long before selling..

If you think about it, it was last released in 2006, Disney classics in the vault tend to be on a 7year cycle (roughly) so it could be that the suppliers had bought in bulk sold high but seeing that it is due for re-release soon they have dropped the cost to try to shift excess stock rather than be stuck with 'old' copies.

Got mine today, kids watching it now. If it is a fake it is a good one. Case a bit flimsy other than that I can't tell. Got from value buy.

I really hope they are real but have a horrible feeling they are good fakes.

Hi, I bought one too from MajorStockist. Emailed them saying I am not happy with it and convinced it was a fake. Had a polite reply saying I could return it. According to the reply, the DVDs were genuine UAE version which is different from UK. Possibly not fakes (?) but cheap parallel imports ?

Since last few days play.com is having problems with emails from buyers and inventory management from sellers.

Initially we had 3 little mermaid dvd’s on hand, but we received 5 orders, on calling play.com they said that they were facing issues with inventory management total 5 orders were received even though we had 3 items in stock. So we bought extra 2 dvd’s from other seller and sent the item to you. We just tried to provide you service by buying from other seller and sending it to you, rather than we cancel the order and refund you (refund takes around 7 days to get credited back to your account).


this is oboviously not true as theres more than 2 people on here taht got the fakes from them!...they gave me a full refund before i even questioned it, admission of guilt there i think!

it was dvdhut they are claiming to have gotten these from.....im not sure if i believe them anyway.

I'm so sorry to hear people are receiving fake copies. I wonder if perhaps it is the same seller with multiple businesses?

If you're unsure you can take them into a Disney store and they will be able to verify if these are fake or not. If they are verified as fake then Play should take action, even without a written headed letter stating it is fake I think it would be worth contacting Play as you bought from their marketplace. I hope everyone gets a refund for their fake copies, it's such a sad thing to see childrens dvd's being bootlegged
