Can anyone help me?
Some years ago around 2005/6 I bought some things from Freemans cataloge. I didnt have an account with them as it was a friends catalogue who acted as an agent. I didn't sign a credit agreement with them and I cleared the balance of what I owed. Now I have started getting letters to my new address demanding a sum 0f £6800 which EOS say I owe. I have explained to them I do not owe this and have sent them the standard letter with £1 postal order asking for the account details credit agreement etc. I sent the first letter in january and heard nothing but now they are writing again.. I have since sent the standard follow up letter explaining that untill they send me these details I will not acknowledge any debt.. I am no longer in contact with the friend whos catalogue it was.. I really dont know what else to do it is really stressing me as somehow EOS have got a hold of my mobile telephone number too. Can anyone help?

It sounds like it is quite likely its not your debt but another person with a similar name.
Rather than a CCA request the best starting response it a prove it letter - to get them to prove you owe the money.
You could send the prove it letter combined with the telephone harrasment letter to stop them phoning.
