Hi!
Was just wondering if any of you guys have any experience with trying to get a mortgage's from joint to Sole. In terms of affordability if just under the amount needed would a lender take into account that only one person has being paying the mortgage with proof from bank statements?

Unlikely. As the lender is increasing its risk in reducing the potential pool of payers in the event of default, it will ensure the one remaining borrower can afford to pay.I am a mortgage broker.
