DCA pestering us for charge they added on(debt paid off)

Hi everyone.
My partner had some unpaid Ebay fees to pay. We totally forgot about them due to a death on the family. A DCA called IQOR got in contact with us. We currently receive about 15 calls per day until 9pm at night.
We paid the overdue amount directly to Ebay which was £22.18. We paid via their one time payment method via paypal.
On the letters from IQOR they said the amount due was £30.18.
My partner answered the phone this morning as the debt was paid off on 13th march yet we got a letter yesterday threatening court action for the unpaid remaining balance.
On the phone he explained it was paid on 13th march which she said she can see, but there is the matter of their £8 charge. My partner said he is not paying it. He paid the amount due and he is not paying them. She then got very nasty with him and said he had to pay it.
Do we have to pay this and how can we stop the calls and letters?

Court action for £8...That'll be a laugh. That will not happen.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Thanks. Thats what I thought. It was paid off within a week of receiving a letter from IQOR. Any idea what I could say to them to stop them pestering us?
My partner spoke to them this morning and they have rang twice since!0 -
You can refer to OFT Debt Collection Guidance (2011 update):3.11 Examples of unfair or improper practices are as follows:
a. misleading debtors into believing they are legally liable to pay recovery charges when this is not the case
b. claiming recovery costs from a debtor in the absence of express contractual provision to be able to do so
For example, where there is no provision in the credit agreement that expressly allows for such charges to be levied.
c. not giving a clear indication in credit agreements of the amount of any charges payable on default
d. applying unreasonable charges.0
