    Trouble with that is to wind up a company it has to meet a few conditions - one of them being no financial transactions for at least 3 months iirc.

    Definitely worth looking at though.

    "someone trying to shaft me" is by no means a unique situation.

    As it is a limited company, here, you are not looking at employment law, but contract law.

    Have they defined what consulting services you were to offer? Did you provide them? You need to show you gave them something in return for the consultancy payment.

    After that, you just stop working, assuming the contract between them and your ltd co has no cancellation penalties written into it.
