Equifax - problems with multioccupancy

Hi there,

I wonder if anyone had a similar problem - I live in a multi residential building and Equifax says my address is not registered with Royal mail - but Royal mail says it is registered but in multi residence file - (not postcode address file, where there is only a delivery point address - same for 3 flats) which apparently equifax looks at!

Royal mail goes:

"Multi residence properties are not a new concept and companies have always been able to amend their own systems to incorporate these addresses. We cannot be held responsible for organisations refusing to serve you when the systems they are using are not fit for their organisations purpose."

not to mention that Equifax seems totally uncooperative and emails me the same messages all over again...that I should register my address with Royal mail...


I have no problems with experian and callcredit, only equifax is not getting my address right.. help:(

Put a note on your account that states it equifax not using multi file.

All credit refernce agencies are generally unhelpful. There seems to be no onus on them to hold correct info...disgraceful
