Original Source Mint and Tea Tree Shampoo

Unfortunately one of my favourite shampoos has been discontinued. I'm fuming!:mad:

I will more than likely trawl the shops to try and stock up on the last few bottles but this was discontinued a couple of months ago now so there may not be much left now.

Has anyone seen any bottles left in pound shops, supermarkets, etc? Also if anyone has any suggestions for a worthy replacement I would be very interested to know!

I also use this shampoo/conditioner and until I saw your post did not realise that it had been discontinued. I always buy mine from Home Bargains for around a £ and I bought a bottle a week or so ago. Thanks to your posting I will now go and stock up as the only similar product I have bought was one from my local hairdresser and that was very expensive.

My 99p stores and Poundland have loads as well as the tea tree conditioner.

What PP said, looks like 99p shop has bought up discontinued stock. They had loads in our local store (bromley).

My local Home Bargains and Poundland (Chelmsley Wood) only had the conditioner today.

I'm deperate for this Shampoo. I bought about 10 bottlex when i knew it had been discontinued but am on my last bottle and no one has it anymore.

Have tried numerous 99p and £1 stores in about 6 different towns/cities but no where seems to have any in stock. All they have is the Tea Tree and Mint Condtioner and the Avoacdo Shampoo.

It was discontinued at least a year ago (i think) so stocks will be dwindling everywhere i would imagine. I tried a few other mintys but nothing is as good (IMO) they either don't have the mintiness i like or they dry my hair out incredibly.

I'm contemplating trying the shower gel as shampoo and the ingredients look similar - they also do a Mens Hair and Body wash in Black Mint i might try.

I only saw conditioners and the Almond or Avocado shampoos in my 99p shop and Bodycare, looks like someone beat me to it with the Mint one!

I have found it on ebay, someone has a few boxes of 12 bottles for £10 + £5 p&p. Its in the old bottle though so I'm a bit concerned at how old it might be.

Still can't believe they've discontinued it, I know so many people that used it and just presumed it was really popular!

Dont give up hope everyone. I popped into my local 99p shop this afternoon and they had 9 bottles on the shelf together with some of the conditioner. I bought the shampoo and then went next door to Poundland to buy the conditioner (at the moment our Poundland has 5p off everything to compete with the new 99p shop next door).

I will go in again later this week to see if they have restocked.

May also be worth trying Family Bargains as they are part of the same chain they just dont sell everything for 99p.

Thanks for this, I'm going to order a few but it's only free delivery if you spend over £40 otherwise its £3.49.
