I think I am in the right section to ask these questions, my ex partner has been the name on the house deeds and mortgage since we broke up over 5 years ago. Thanks for all the advice guys, we have decided to fill in the form and send it off see what Northern Rock decide I suppose.

Ex is fine with whatever he has not paid for the house in over 5 years and is not bothered about it, to be honest would be nice to get him completly off but can't see many other ways around this.
