Thanks for all the advice guys, we have decided to fill in the form and send it off see what Northern Rock decide I suppose.

Ex is fine with whatever he has not paid for the house in over 5 years and is not bothered about it, to be honest would be nice to get him completly off but can't see many other ways around this.
