Personally I'd steer clear of anywhere that doesn't specify the dye used, you just don't know what you're buying.

hmm I use a lot of dvds and would agree for dvds but on the whole cds doesnt really matter. I've used all sorts of cds and never had any probs

just for the record the site posted do provide the dye info. I linked to the actual product but if you look at the menu screen it shows they're made by cmc here

OK, thanks, strange that they don't include that info on the product page itself. FWIW CMC is the one company I really avoid, I've had no end of trouble with both their CD's and their DVD's.

It's just 12.5p seems a lot for a blank disk to me! I've just had a bad batch of cheap ones but beforehand I've never had any problem with cheaper ones.

Anyone know of a decent quality CD for less than £12.49? Or is that a good price?

    Seems incredibly cheap to me!

I'd stick with the Taiyo Yudens.

The reviews are really good for the £12.98 Taiyo Yuden ones.
I'm gonna go for them. Seems really cheap - one review said they normally go for about £28 with taiyo yuden (not this particular brand but taiyo in general.)

By the time you're at checkout it will cost £18 with delivery. Seems a bit steep to be honest. I don't really burn anything I'll need in 3 years time - just music for the car and for friends etc..

I want a fairly decent x 100 spindle for a decent price. And free delivery preferably.
