Hi,
Hoping someone can help me. I moved in to a new property in January and got set up with a telephone line. I was getting calls askeing for a woman, someone who used to have the number.
however it wasn't me and I had had enough of it so I rang Virgin and got switched to a new number. I gave this number to 5 people. 3 family, work and someone who is due to call me in April regarding a doctors appointment.
Since Friday when it came in to place, I have come home twice to a answering machine message, not asking for anyone, but saying I must call them on a 0845 number.
I'm just wondering what to do. I've had the number less than a week and no creditors know the number, so I know for definite that it's not me they want. Do I ring them? Will they keep ringing me?
Please help - I don't fancy ringing virgin again for a new number. Can I block the calls? If so, does anyone know how??? Thanks

Do you know who is calling?
Have you googled the 0845 number to see who it is?
If its a debt collector I wouldn't ring them. If its you they want then they'll write to you.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
