Jimmo and Molley have answered my question, I think, so I have edited this post. It sounds as if the £10,500 rate for 2012-13 for those born before April 1948 still stands. I had wondered if, retrospectively in view of the budget, it would be reduced to the 2011-2012 level of £9940 but, thankfully, it seems not.
