    First, it should never just be about tax - a company is for life not just for Christmas! (well nearly). There are plenty of drawbacks. At the same time, there are plenty of advantages other than just tax. If you want some links with more details please PM me.

    Getting back to the question, if you can see profit before tax of £15k in a reliable business and £22k in a more volatile one (e.g. pub, restaurant) then the NI and tax benefits outweight the extra costs.
