Orlistat is not a life-or-death drug, so have a bit of faith in yourself. Losing weight on the other hand can have a myriad of health benefits. I would suggest you start controlling your portion size rather than looking at the fat content of foods, and also exercising. You'll feel miles better within 3 days - guaranteed - and be able to maintain weight loss without the assistance of orlistat, which IMO is about as much use as a wet f*rt - literally!!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

i do exercise, i walk FOR MILES every day...and for EVEN MORE miles on the weekend, i swim, do a circuit training class, boxercise,
i just think i have come so far, with a combination of daily exercise, sllimming world, and Xenical, and i am not ready to give ANY of them up yet, im sure when it comes to maintaining i willbe able to cut down / cut out the Xenical, but at the mo, i am happy to keep going with it all
my own GP admits to taking the odd Xenical when she has over indulged, so it cant be that bad cant it?
it does say in the pack that it works best when used in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet, and that what i am doing, so i dont suffer the wet f**ts!0 -
In that case I think you should just stop the Xenical. You seem to have weight loss cracked, I think any effect the orlistat is having will be modest, if that.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

i am going along the lines of thinking that if i really didnt need it my GP would not be prescribing it?
i will possibly give it up when i get to target, or just take the one at the weekend with my takeaway,
i dont know if it stops being affective after X amount of months, or if you can take it to maintain a weight loss,
any one here on it long term?0 -

Another person here who thinks you have weight loss down to a T, maybe wean yourself off or ration them like you had just started to.
When I was at school my friend's Nan was prescribed this but didn't like the side effects and didn't want to cut her fat down anymore. She didn't take them and instead my friend doled them out at school!!! We all had our first one just before getting dominoes delivered. Needless to say, none of us have touched a diet pill since :rotfl:Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

i think thats what i will do,
i tend not to take one at breakfast, break time in work, as i only eat fruit, yoghurts and a cereal bar. lunch is pretty much the same, so maybe from now on i will only take one at my main meal0
