Civil Service Interview-Competency Scoring

Hi there, my DH has been awaiting the outcome of an interview with the Civil Service - if successful it's a position that could potentially turn our lives around. Does anybody know how the scoring is calculated? He has received an interim feedback report which gives a number to each of the 5 behavioural competencies in which he had to demonstrate his proficiency. The marks appear to be out of 10, he has 3 x 8's, 1 x 7 and 1 x 6. A comment at the bottom says that although he was nervous, he performed very well. The overall interview feedback says 'application still under review'.
A friend of ours had applied for the same position and had her interview last week - however, sadly she received a rejection email on Monday this week. We hardly dare breathe in case he gets this job, is anybody familiar with the Civil Service processes and/or interview timescales etc.
Yours hopefully

Hello Tabitha, they Competency scores are out of 9 anything 4 and over is deemed a pass obviously the higher the mark the better so your husband has done well.
Is it for the DWP? If so, there is a HUGE very informative and supportive thread just above/below this called DWP Recruiting Again - that's where you will find any further answers you may be looking for. If not then it still covers Civil Service Competency based interviews and may be of help.
Good luck for the job, I am also waiting to hear news...;)0 -

I scored 4, 3,3 and 2 for my HRMC competency interview. Needless to say, I was unsuccessful.
If I had scored 3 or 4 in the last question, would I have passed?Ohhh, thanks fairy-girl, will check that out, fingers crossed for you too, let's hope we will all soon be  !!!
Good luck
