I'm currently looking at this as an option, but doing my research. Can anyone point me in the direction as to some of the best Shared Ownership mortages around at the moment?
Many thanks

Im sorry it would not be legal to post the best deals here with info given you need to contact a broker.I like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0

I second that - speak to a broker. For the record, I have my mortgage with Nationwide, which was the best 2-year fixed rate at the time. I'm not sure that there's such a thing as a "shared ownership mortgage", per se - mine was a normal deal that Nationwide was offering. It's just that not all lenders will mortgage SO properties at all, and those that do, have various criteria of their own. For example, as I understand it, I would not have been offered a Nationwide mortgage if I had been buying less than a 40% share of my property.
