The View - Birmingham - !!!!!!? (Seetickets)

Hi there

Recently bought some tickets! In the confirmation email:

You have booked to attend THE VIEW at Carling Academy, Birmingham on TUESDAY 17/04/2007 at 19.30

You have ordered the following tickets

Reference xxxx - 2 STANDING at £ 13.75
Plus a Transaction fee of £ 4.80

All good so far yes?

Well on ticketmaster they aren't playing there. In fact at the Carling Academy that day is some random band I've never heard of according to ticket master.

On the view myspace it says its a 3pm start on that day! But then when you click the link it says its an 11pm start that day.

However seetickets website still shows its 7.30pm that night as well as theviews official web page!!!

!!!!!! is going on? They say u dont get tickets till 5 days before the event but they've already taken the money for it and I don't know what's going on?!

It is possible that one of the websites in question will not be updated untill staff are back after the weekend?

Best to phone and ask them if in doubt about anything.

Well this is the first time i've looked since I bought the tickets with the presale link posted on MSE a few weeks ago!

I will check again tomorrow but I'm so confused at ticketmaster! Id undersatnd if they werent selling them, but they WERE, now they've withdrawn it without saying cancelled, and another random band is on the same night at the same venue!

Hmmm I'll do research into this other band.

Sony BMG still says they're on but it's sold out.

Lol there's more inconsistencies then a chelsea v arsenal cup final !!!

(only those who just watched it will understand... 102 minuts of normal time, 3 red cards, etc etc..)

Don't know whether this helps or not but Bar Academy and the Carling Academy are two separate venues. Bar Academy is a smaller venue next door to the Carling Academy. At one time I think they were all part of one big building.
