when does stubble become a beard? I hope they were explicit in their definitions of how long stubble should have been so you could measure to be able to answer the question.....0

Surely if the boss wants employees with no facial hair, he can have it that way? This is HIS business after all, and his staff should represent this. If he asked you to wear a white shirt to work, would you quit because you felt it infringed some personal right of yours to choose what shirt you wear?
And who's to say your "designer" stubble looks neat and professional? Maybe it looks a bit unpresentable...
If it was me, I would shave...does a bit of stubble matter that much?0
