6 x status 3's on credit file.

I have 6 X status 3's ( 3 months late on my credit file. This information is going to be removed this month by the bank in question because the ombudsman has forced them to do it.
This is the only real negative information on my file. Apart from an arrangement to pay.
Can I expect my credit rating to improve and by how much?

It will improve but the only way to see how much by is to keep checking your credit file. When my defaults were removed it made a big difference - I never knew my actual score but where I was being refused for even a mobile phone I was allowed a huge overdraft and a loan. Not that thats a good thing but shows that they trusted me more than they did before !0

Are 6 x Status 3 as bad as a default then?

They show as late payments. They aren't as bad a default but they are seen as very bad.
I've a number on my file in recent history and I have to be very careful as to what I do and with whom.
You will see an improvement on your score but remember your number is something that equifax/ noodle/ experian give you.
There are several deciding factors as to wether you a suitable product for a new product.
If you are going to take out a new product ask for a soft search or no no foot print as know as opt out search to see how you are but time your applications and wait 3 months between each one.0
