Too Much Pressure

At my works the senior managers have signed a contract that is obviously beyond what the staff can achieve.
Managers are now putting the staff under so much pressure that staff are down and upset and even some staff have been sacked due to sickness etc.
I have been there for 3 years now and I love the work I do and contact I have with the public but as the work we do is for an outsourcing company the client has asked for more in the new contract and we are unable to meet the expected figures agreed and the staff are working so hard but whatever we do as its not enough for them and we are not trusted as they keep checking on our work even though we do everything they ask.
Everyone's morale is low and so I now have to think of joining agencies again to get work fulltime in admin and office work either in town or close to home as what they expect is affecting people's work life balance.
I hope to go mcr on thurs to find some good agencies to join.
I am not in the union but years ago I was with CWU but I am a good attender at work and never late and always performed well.
If I had to work in mcr my salary would have to increase up £2k at least or more to cover travelling costs.

can't you just grin and bear it for a bit? It will probably settle down once some of the moaners have gone. Perhaps there will be more efficient ways of meeting your targets and you will be trained how to do so. You love the work so it seems silly to put yourself under the pressure of a new job.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

what is the question?
Pressure is par for the course in this world whether we like it or not, and suppliers will always be squeezed on margins...0 -

Its been like this since last year. every quarter the same things heard time and time again, we are not doing enough.
some people have been here a long time and cant believe its gone this bad.
Without going into too much detail about the role there are no efficient ways of meeting the targets as we are doing our best as we always do.
Getting a new job is not pressure the experience i have got in this role will enable me to get a possible better role. If we dont take overtime we are made to feel guilty about not doing it.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
We do accept some pressure but its now being rammed in our faces every single day and because of that we cant really concentrate on the job we do and so we leave work feeling totally unappreciated.what is the question?

Well I guess the question is that is anyone else in this situation and wanting to get out.
As long as I have a role at the moment, Im looking for something better and possibly more rewarding.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
if enough people leave they will get the message, if enough don't leave then its not really that big of a problemThe Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

On the other hand if the work is contracted as it appears to be then the client isn't going to care about the pressure or whether it can be achieved. If the expected outcomes aren't achieved then they will simply remove the contract and get in someone who will get the job done. Resulting in you all losing your jobs or being TUPE'd to another employer who may be even worse in their pursuit of results. I totally agree that getting out may be the best all around option, but I am afraid that the way things are going this is increasingly becoming the way of the world.0

I never understood this
"they make us feel guilty"
If you are doing what you can then there is no reason to feel guilty.
You neeed to counter argue the case they make, that makes you feel guilty.
If the problems they are identifying can't be fixed then that's their problem not yours.
Managment are on a spiral to self destruction with this approach.0
